Maintenance Laborer-

From beaches, trails, and athletic fields to Main Street, Town buildings, lakes, ponds and rivers- this on the go job is fast paced and most days you will meet your 10,000 steps. Days are spent working outside in parks and town green spaces, helping Town Departments, and completing maintenance tasks at Town buildings. The Full time position has many benefits including health and dental insurance, two weeks’ vacation, incentive pay for time worked, NH Retirement, 457 Retirement Plan, flexible schedule, paid holidays, sick time and personal days. The starting salary for this position is $19.07/hr., pay increase after probation. Work includes: building maintenance and repairs, setting up for Town elections, care of park amenities, displaying USA flags, mowing, weed trimming, trash removal, landscaping, turf maintenance, tree care, irrigation, floor care, snow removal, assistance at special events, administrative tasks and custodial duties. Requirements: Applicants will need to have a valid NH Driver’s License and high school diploma or GED. Previous experience with building maintenance and landscaping is a plus. The successful candidate will complete a Background Check, physical capacity exam, drug test and medical exam for employment.
