ALTON COMMUNITY FORUM
The Alton Parks and Recreation Commission is sponsoring a Community Forum on Wednesday, June 22 at 6:00pm at the Pearson Road Community Center to discuss recreational opportunities in the Town of Alton. Residents are invited to share their ideas on programs, facilities and accessible resources they would like to see offered in the Town of Alton. Volunteers are needed to make things happen, and the Commission would like to hear your ideas. Come with ideas for your community, and the Commission will provide the ice cream! ALTON BAY SUMMER CAMP
The Alton Parks and Recreation Department is offering two fun weeks of Summer Camp on Lake Winnipesaukee. Enjoy all that Alton has to offer with swimming, themed Summer Camp weeks, cooperative games, mini golf, pizza parties, interactive crafts, outdoor play and much more. Camp will take place Monday-Thursday July 11-14, 2022 and August 1-4, 2022 at the Alton Bay Community Center from 9:00a.m.- 4:00p.m for ages 7-11. Computerized timing with bib chip; results posted online. Scenic, slight varying course, flat/downhill with one moderate incline, paved. Alton Town Wide Yard Sale
The Alton Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring its Annual Town Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, June 4, 2022, rain or shine from 8:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. Free Yard Sale maps will be available after May 23, 2022 at the Parks and Recreation office and Town Web Site- www.alton.nh.gov.
Alton “Neighborhood Clean Up” Program
The Town of Alton is sponsoring a Neighborhood Clean Up effort starting now through August 31, 2022. Free blue bags for collection of roadside litter are available at the Parks and Recreation Department, Highway Department and Town Clerk’s office. Neighborhoods are encouraged to gather together to form a cleanup day where trash is collected and placed in to the blue bags. Once the litter is collected- contact the Town at 603-875-0109 or firstname.lastname@example.org to register your neighborhood pickup location. Thank you for helping to reduce the road side litter in our community.
Line Dancing Lessons
Line Dancing with Joan Lightfoot is scheduled on Thursdays from 1:30p.m.-3:00p.m from June 16-August 25 at the Alton Bay Community Center. Adults of all ages and abilities are welcome, $3/season. Register on site.
