DPW General Laborer- Solid Waste
Join our motivated team- where every day is an adventure. A rewarding job in a great community. The on the go job is fast paced and most days you will meet your steps. Days are primarily spent working outside at the Alton Solid Waste & Recycling Center. The part time – seasonal position is 40 hours per week with an hourly starting wage of $16.83/hr. Work includes: Solid Waste Center maintenance and repairs, mowing, weed trimming, trash removal, landscaping, and working in recycling area. Requirements: Applicants will need to have a valid NH Driver’s License and high school diploma or GED, training will be provided for DES Solid Waste Operator Certification. The successful candidate will complete a Background Check, physical capacity exam, drug test and medical exam for employment.
