ASSISTANT TOWN CLERK/TAX COLLECTOR: Are you looking for part-time employment with a flexible work schedule? The Town of Alton is looking for a dedicated person to fill the position for a part-time Assistant Town Clerk/Tax Collector (approximately of 10 -15 hours per week) at the Alton Town Hall. Applicants must be detailed oriented, trustworthy and demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in all aspects of office work including computer skills, verbal communications and all confidential matters. Looking for a team player that can be courteous and willing to assist the public with a variety of tasks. Duties and responsibilities may vary as needed. Experience is preferred.
