This project proposes the repair and replacement of an existing legal boat house along with the repair
and replacement of the decking on the surrounding docking structure. The boat house is in need of
structural repair and the repair and reconstruction will prevent debris from ending up in the lake. The
boat house is 28 feet by 13.5 feet and will be replaced in kind, with no change to foot print or existing
height. Roof line will be adjusted to accommodate storage above boats. The decking surrounding the
boat house has started to rot and needs to be replaced. The replacement decking will be tyvek or equal
decking which will prevent rot from occuring to the decking surface in the future. The total
decking area being replaced is 520 sf and is also being repaired and replaced in kind.
