Important Notice: January 2026 Renewal Letters

Please be advised that January 2026 renewal letters will not be emailed until January 6, 2026. This brief delay is necessary to incorporate recent changes in state motor vehicle fees as required by new legislation.

Renewal letters have not been mailed since July 1, 2025.
* Renewal notices are sent via email only.
* Notices are not required by law.
Registrants may renew:
* In person during their birth month (or up to 4 months early) by presenting a valid driver’s license.
* Online using the plate number and the last four digits of the VIN.

If you are not the registrant and need to renew a vehicle for someone else, please bring an old registration along with your driver’s license.
