The Town of Alton is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of its newly redesigned municipal website, scheduled to go live before January 15, 2026. The updated site has been built to provide residents, businesses, and visitors with improved access to public information, online services, and town resources.

The new website was developed with a focus on transparency, accessibility, and ease of use. Featuring a modernized design, streamlined navigation, and enhanced mobile compatibility, the platform will make it simpler for community members to stay informed and interact with local government.

• Modern, more mobile-friendly, aligned layout for easy access on phones and tablets
• Improved navigation for locating boards/committees, departments, forms, minutes, and public notices
• A centralized job board for career and volunteer opportunities
• Enhanced search capabilities
• Updated meeting calendar capabilities with better visibility into events
• New contact forms enabling direct communication with departments
• New and regular feature releases with site versioning

The Town encourages residents to explore the new website once it launches and provide feedback to help further refine and improve the digital experience.

The new site will replace the Town’s existing website and will be accessible through the existing Town domain: www.alton.nh.gov
