The Alton Parks and Recreation Commission is looking for one member and one alternate to make a full board. The Parks and Recreation Commission is made up of five members from the community appointed by the Board of Selectmen. The purpose of the Commission is to set policies; advise on needed parks and recreation programs; and to plan, acquire and develop recreation facilities, parks and open space areas to meet future needs as the Town grows.
